I am excited to work with you as we successfully collaborate to address the specific needs of our various students in the 21st century. Educational targets are identified from a scheduled consultation. Once these targets are identified, through using successfully proven research-based techniques in interesting, relevant, rigorous, and culturally responsive ways a practical time is to be established in order to achieve proficient results that are lasting.

Differentiated services are targeted to help you reach students at the: elementary level, at the middle school level, at the high school level, and at the university level as well.

Some specialized services that are offered are geared at: understanding how to implement effective classroom management strategies; designing standards-aligned lessons in all subject areas in grades prek-12); recognizing how to communicate successfully with parents; student-centered strategies for hosting successful parent-teacher conferences at specific times in the fiscal school year.

The Standard Literacy Timeline is:

I. Stage 1: Emergent literacy

Age Range: 4-6 years old.

II. Stage 2: Alphabetic fluency

Age Range: 6-7 years old.

III. Stage 3: Words and Patterns

Age Range: 7-9 years old.

IV. Stage 4: Intermediate Reading

Age Range: 9-11 years old.

V. Stage 5: Advanced Reading

Age Range: 11-14 years old.
